CIRCA 1730-35, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, GILDER'S 12. AND DREHER'S MARK
The centre painted with merchants at discussion by cargo on the banks of an estuary, a tent on the left and figures unloading ships on the right, before distant ships, a tower and mountains, within a quatrefoil gilt cartouche with gilt scrolls enclosing Böttger-lustre panels, edged with purple and red scrolls and with purple diaper panels above and below, within a broad border of gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk, gilt band rim (small restored chip to underside of rim with hairline crack to underside, very slight wear to rim)
