The quatrefoil tray painted in puce camaïeu after Watteau with a lady and companion seated on a grassy knoll, a herm among shrubs behind them and Pierrot from the Commedia dell'Arte seated before them, within a puce line and gilt band cartouche, the ozier-moulded border reserved with four shaped panels of figures in landscapes divided by small flower-sprays, within a gilt band rim, the four ozier-moulded quatrefoil teabowls each reserved with two quatefoil vignettes divided by flower-sprays, below gilt ropetwist borders (slight wear to gilding, tray with very slight areas of wear and scratches to enamels)
The stand 9¼ in. (23.6 cm.) wide
