POSSIBLY 18TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND INDISTINCT INCISED MARK
The flared oval upper part painted in the Kakiemon palette with flowers and bound grasses, the exterior lower part with a band of moulded gilt dot ornament, on four Frauenkopf scroll supports terminating in gilt-edged scrolls, with gilt shells and pendant husks at the intersections, the female heads with brown hair and brown features, the puce drapery suspended from their necks with white Sgraffito scrolls, gilt line rim (chip to underside edge of rim, minute chip to one nose, slight wear to gilt rim, heads and puce drapery, very slight wear to remaining gilding)
