A MEISSEN SMALL ARCHED RECTANGULAR TEACADDY AND COVER
CIRCA 1745, INDISTINCT IMPRESSED MARK
Each side painted with a figure seated in a garden, one side with Pierrot playing a wind instrument, each flanked by curved trellis with flowers, below a purple scale ornament border edged with gilt scrolls, the shoulder with two flower-sprays, the domed cover similarly decorated below a carnation finial (chipping and areas of wear, chip near footrim filled, cover with damage and repairs to finial)
