The exterior painted with a continuous battle scene after Rugendas with soldiers on horseback, the continuous scene on the hinged domed cover with merchants and a galleon, the interior mounted with a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, the outer arcaded chapter with Arabic five minute divisions, the gilt chain fusee movement with pierced balance cock, dial and movement signed (body with cracks from rim, mount re-attached), sold with spare fusee chain
