An early 18th century gold memento mori ring
the plain band inscribed on the inside, The Rev S Lowe ob 7 Dec 1709 aet79, with maker's initials SF, the outside of the band engraved with a stylised skull, finger size - M1/2.
Provenance
Found at St Germans, near Kings Lynn
Special notice

Further details
The Church of England website records that a Samual Lowe was Vicar in the parish of Merton near Kings Lynn in 1662 however this may not be the person to which the inscription refers.
