A late 19th century emerald, diamond and gem brooch
modelled as a coiled snake forming a bow, the body composed of a line of alternate old-brilliant-cut diamonds and cut-cornered square emeralds, the matching head with gem eyes, suspending a later cultured pearl drop with rose-cut diamond cap and single stone diamond surmount, circa 1890.
