A PAIR OF LARGE GILT-DECORATED BLUE-GLAZED VASES
GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)

Each globular bottle vase covered inside and out with a bright powder-blue glaze and decorated in gilt with two five-clawed dragons contesting a flaming pearl amidst fire scrolls and clouds above cresting waves, the shoulder with a band of floral scrolls interspersed with four Shou symbols, the slender waisted neck with a dragon and a phoenix below a ruyi border around the mouth rim
