The exterior finely enamelled with four gilt-bordered roundels enclosing peonies, daisies and lingzhi, divided by peach sprays rising above crashing waves, all against a graviata lemon-yellow ground, the interior decorated in underglaze-blue with a central medallion of lingzhi and bamboo growing from rockwork amidst waves, surrounded on the cavetto by detached sprays of peony and lingzhi
