The deep sides painted to the exterior with two ladies and a young boy in a pavilion beside a lake containing a leaping carp, the reverse with a further pair of figures before a dwelling, each scene divided by clouds and trees, the interior with a medallion containing the 'three friends of winter', pine, prunus and bamboo, the base with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark
