A PAIR OF CARVED JADEITE BELT HOOKS
One belt hook of good translucency with a section of intense green colour, and the other of semi-translucent deep green material; both of S-shaped form, carved and pierced as a striding chilong with a long lingzhi spray in its mouth, confronting a dragon-head terminal, the underside carved with a circular disc for attachment, late Qing dynasty, belt hooks approximately 91.90 x 18.52 x 23.01 and 94.08 x 17.04 x 18.41 mm
With certificate nos. JC30885 and JC30886 dated 31 August 2005 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that both belt hooks are natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
