A GROUP OF JINYU MANTANG JADEITE CARVINGS
Depicting ten different kinds of seeds and fruits, symbolising "jinyu mantang" or "A harvest of plenty"; a water caltrop and two melon seeds carved in opaque black jadeite; a peanut and a walnut carved in translucent honey yellow jadeite; a chestnut carved in opaque intense brown jadeite; a date and a jujube carved in translucent jadeite of light or intense caramel brown colour; a ginko seed carved in icy near colourless jadeite; a lotus seed carved in semi-opaque lavender jadeite; and a broad bean carved in light green jadeite of good translucency; all sitting on a celadon jadeite plate, to a carved and pierced wooden stands, walnut approximately 35.94 x 31.50 x 22.95 mm
