Set with a cut-cornered square-cut diamond weighing 18.02 carats, to the diamond-set gallery and hoop, mounted in platinum, ring size 5¾
With report no. 11069732 dated 13 March 2000 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 18.02 carat diamond is D colour, flawless clarity, excellent polish, excellent symmetry
With report no. 0102386 dated 1 March 2001 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 18.02 carat diamond is D colour, flawless clarity, excellent polish, excellent symmetry. Accompanied by an appendix stating that the diamond of 18.02 carats possesses a purity of colour and degree of transparency which are particular to the finest of natural type IIa diamonds. Diamonds of this type and size, exhibiting a superior quality, are very rare. Such diamonds have been unearthed from only a limited number of sources around the world (e.g. South Africa, Brazil and India).
