** A SPECTACULAR JADEITE PLAQUE WITH AN IVORY STAND
The highly translucent tapered plaque of a vitreous, even vivid emerald green colour throughout, carved in detail to depict a festive scene from a well-known Chinese legendary story "qun xian zhu shou" or "Wishes of longevity from a group of immortals", to a pink tourmaline surmount (accompanied by an ivory stand carved on each side with a sinuous dragon amidst scrolling clouds, enclosed in a glass case with ivory and wood platform), plaque approximately 74.19 x 33.75-44.90 x 8.18 mm, in a 24k gold box enhanced with cabochon sapphires, spinels and pink tourmalines
With certificate no. JC30867 dated 30 August 2005 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the plaque is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
