Printer's woodcut device on verso of last leaf, woodcut headpieces and historiated initials (some staining at the beginning, occasional light spotting). Contemporary calf, sides rolltooled with drums, trumpets and other decoration, vellum pastedowns from fragments of two 14th-century manuscripts (front board detached, lacks clasps, chipped at head and foot of spine and one corner). Provenance: near contemporary Latin quotation on title -- Colins (near contemporary owner's inscription on front pastedown) -- Geo. Evans, 1697 (owner's inscription on title).
