Additional engraved title, portrait, folding map and 211 engravings including 97 plates, many with more than one engraving to a sheet and many double-page and folding including fine panoramas of Constantinople (2), Aleppo, Smyrna, Alexandria and Jerusalem, double-page map of Egypt inserted at the beginning, title in red and black (occasional unimportant light browning and spotting). Contemporary calf, gilt spine (very worn). Provenance: Francis Scott (18th-century bookplate). Second French edition - the first appeared at Delft in 1700 and an English version was printed in 1702.
