An anonymous commentary on Aristotle's Rhetorica printed by Conrad Néobar, appointed the first Royal Greek printer by François Ier in 1538. He printed only a handful of books in 1539 and 1540 and, on his death in the latter year, was succeeded in his post by Robert Estienne. Renouard calls him a 'savant et très habile Imprimeur' and Henri II Estienne composed a touching epitaph of him. His widow, Edmée Tousan, printed a few books on her own account before marrying Jacques Bogard some time late in 1541. Adams A1960; not in Hoffmann.
