FIRST EDITION of Defoe's celebrated collection of reports and anecdotes concerning the 'Great Storm' of 1703, one of the most destructive ever recorded across the British Isles. It wrought the total destruction of the first Eddyston lighthouse, along with its creator, Henry Winstanley. Moore 81.
