Decorated overall with chinoiserie gilt motifs, the hinged square eared top lined to the inside with red felt, the angles fitted with roundels decorated with floral spays and oval dished wells for counters, the concertina-action frieze decorated with birds among a rocky landscape, on splayed legs headed with shell motif flanked by foliate scrolls, partially redecorated
