comprising: a pair of figures of a gardener and companion, modelled as a boy and girl, wearing 18th century dress, the boy leaning on a hoe, the girl holding a hat filled with flowers, each before leaf-moulded stem below twin branches applied with flowers, the bases moulded with scrolls, underglaze blue marks -- 9in. (22.8cm.) high; and two similar groups of Bacchus, seated, wearing loose drapes, holding a putto, on shaped circular bases moulded with shells and applied with flowers -- 12¼in.
