Woven in wools and silks, from the Story of Emperor Otavian Augustus, depicting Cleopatra before Augustus, within an architectural border centred to top and bottom by a cabochon in a scrollwork cartouche flanked by by fruiting garlands and sea shells, the sides headed by eagles above military trophies and female figures representative of victory and peace, each on a sphere and a vase supported by winged griffons, within a brown outer slip
