The rectangular arched back, padded arms and serpentine-fronted seat upholstered in close-nailed green and red cut silk velvet with foliate pattern, the arms terminating in cabochons on supports conformingly decorated, the seatrail centred by a cartouche flanked by foliate scrolls, on slightly cabriole legs headed by cabochons and terminating in scroll-carved feet
