Lot Essay

Intriguingly, the columns supporting the upper tier do not match the lower columns, although they are of the same period. Upon a close inspection it would appear that the cup-board was adapted to house a drawer at one time and then adapted back to it's former self, but with a different pair of columns, presumably as the first pair were lost.
