A pair of Sèvres-style gilt-metal mounted two-handled vases
the slender oviform bodies painted with children in gardens within quatrefoil panels 'jewelled' with red and white beads below gilt scrolling foliage, each reverse with a similar panel painted with musical and agricultural devices, on a dark blue ground, the lower section leaf-moulded above spirally fluted circular feet, the mounts formed as twin handles terminating in masks, the bases of shaped square section each supported on four feet -- 16in. (40.6cm.) high, late 19th century (some minor damages and wear)
