EARLY 19TH CENTURY, TOP AND BASE ASSOCIATED
Comprising three tilt-top sections and two additional leaves, the rounded rectangular top with reeded edge, on ring-turned columns and downswept legs with brass caps and castors, eight various brass clips
27¾ in. (70.5 cm.) high; 171¼ in. (435 cm.) long, fully extended; 54 in. (137.5 cm.) wide; the leaves 30½ in. (77.5 cm.) wide

Bought from Mallett & Son, 40 New Bond Street, London, 12 August 1946 ('an old English mahogany dining table, consisting of three pedestals and two loose leaves. Ca. 1810. £385'; the receipt endorsed by R. W. Symonds).
