Ten Iron Tsuba
Unsigned, Edo period (17th-19th century)
The first an oval iron tsuba chiselled with a manzai dancer under a curtain at New Year wearing an Okina mask and carrying a stick of bells, a fue [flute] and tsuzumi [drum] on the reverse, plum and bamboo to the side, details in gilt nunome, the others including Namban and Heianjo zogan tsuba
The first 6.7cm. the others various sizes (10)
