The silver base carved with swirling waves breaking around a branch of coral, over which climb an octopus and three south-sea islanders, in kuro-shibuichi, their shorts and eyes in gilt, the latter in search of clams and other shellfish, in copper, gilt and silver, a gilt crab fights with the octopus for possession of a shellfish, signed on a tanzaku on the base, Shosei
