The anglaise riche case with spiral-twist Corinthian columns, the pink guilloché enamel dial with raised gilt and crimson scrolls, gilt-brass chapter ring with two-tone Roman chapters, filigree centre mount, blued steel hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with silvered platform to bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to back plate numbered 423, the base now housing a later musical movement -- 7 in. (18 cm.) high, handle down; two keys
