The hood with swan neck cresting and outset square section front-fluted columns, conforming pilasters flanking the tracery arch trunk door, the plinth with canted angles and raised on bracket feet, the 14in. wide brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels to a wide silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, plain centre with subsidiary seconds ring, blued steel hands, with silvered convex in the arch signed Emmanuel/Copperton/Leeds, the eight day movement with four pillars, anchor escapement and rack strike on gong; replaced seatboard -- 89 in. (227 cm.) high; pendulum, two weights
