A Victorian Scottish mahogany wheel barometer, circa 1845
The ebony and satinwood strung case with part-ebonisd swan-neck pediment and brass urn finial, with hygrometer above bayonet-fixed glazed mercury thermometer, central convex mirror within reeded ebonised slip, with convex brass bezel and glass to 8 in. diameter silvered dial, signed on the spirit level below John Stopani/Aberdeen/Warranted -- 38 in. (96.5 cm.) high
