The ebony and satinwood strung case with swan-neck pediment and brass urn finial, hygrometer above bayonet-fixed glazed mercury thermometer, concave brass bezel and convex glass to 12 in. diameter silvered dial, signed J. Sordelli/Warranted on the spirit level below -- 45 in. (114 cm.) high
