A George III mahogany longcase clock, early 19th Century
With brass ball and spire finials to a pierced cresting, glazed side panels to the hood, moulded frame to trunk door and conforming panel to the plinth, the 12 in. diameter white painted Roman dial with subsidiary seconds ring, painted brass hands, signed COX/Camden Town, strike/silent lever above XII, pinned directly to the eight day movement with four pillars joining shouldered plates, anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 84½ in. (214 cm.) high; pendulum with calibrated rating nut, two brass weights, crank key
