MIDDLE KINGDOM TO PTOLEMAIC PERIOD, 2040-30 B.C.
Including four of glazed steatite, with a range of motifs on their undersides, including scorpions, ornamental motifs and mottos inscribed in hieroglyphs; and one of green jasper, the underside uninscribed; together with a small faience amulet of a cow; all mounted as a bracelet in a 1920s gold setting
Jasper scarab: 7/8 in. (2.2 cm.) long
Bracelet: 2½ in. (6.4 cm.) wide when clasped
