The plain hollow hoop flat on the interior, rounded on the exterior, expanding to the shoulders, the bezel set with a convex oval stone engraved with a bust of Dionysus depicted in profile to the left, his hair rolled back at the sides, two tendrils falling onto his shoulder, the individual strands of hair finely detailed, crowned with an ivy wreath, his lidded eye beneath a heavy brow, with a straight nose, fleshy lips and a rounded chin, a roll of drapery along the base of his neck
