One side with Dionysos seated on a klismos between two draped maenads, the god bearded wearing a long chiton under a himation and crowned with a wreath, holding a rhyton before him; the other side with Dionysos standing between two dancing satyrs, the god bearded facing right but looking back, similarly clad in a chiton, himation and wreath, and holding a rhyton before him; the panels framed by ivy on either side, tongues above, rays above the foot, a band of key on the rim, four sets of lions confronting boars in silhouette on the upper surface of the rim, palmettes on the handle plates, details in added red and white
