The obverse with a hippocamp moving to the right, its ridged mane in added red, the forelegs extending forward, its scales rendered by incision, the undulating body terminating in a bifurcated tail, surrounded by four leaping dolphins; the reverse with three draped female figures, each seated on a rock; with rays above the foot, a band of key encircling the body below the scenes, tongues on the shoulders, palmette lotus chain on the neck, details in added red and white
