The tondo with two bearded male figures, each draped in a himation and holding a knobby staff, one seated to the left, facing the figure standing before him, kalos inscribed in red above, framed by a band of meander and crossed squares; both sides of the exterior with four male figures, each nude with a mantle draped over his shoulders but for one who wears a himation, one side with a youth and three bearded men walking to the left, the lead figure carrying a staff, the other side with three youths and a bearded man walking to the right, the last figure carrying a staff, ivy leaves framing the scenes; with adorsed palmettes below the handles
