WORKSHOP OF THE BALTIMORE PAINTER, CIRCA 330 B.C.
Molded in the form of the head of a maltese, with peaked triangular ears, a tapering muzzle and large almond-shaped eyes, a white tuft of hair at the forehead, the bowl with a female head wearing a sakkos in profile to the left, palmettes and tendrils on either side of the handle, vertical lines along the everted rim, details in added white and red
