The thick walled vessel with a piriform body flaring to the short vertical rim, the rounded disk base with concentric rings on the underside, the separately-cast handle with a foliate shaft joined to the rim with twin duck heads, the foliate thumbrest curving upward, terminating below in a bust of Jupiter, the bearded god with his head turned to his left, his cloak draped over his left shoulder
