Originally part of a cavalry helmet of Silistra type, hammered from a single sheet in the form of a beardless youth with three rows of thick corkscrew curls framing the face, a single lock along the cheeks in front of the prominent ears, the eyes and nostrils perforated, the lips of the small mouth slightly parted, the perimeter with perforations for attachment
