by the Imperial Glass Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Alexander II
Circular, of bulbous form, the base with gilt and brown banding, the body with a pattern of symetrical pairs of stylized peacocks in gilt and brown with blue heads and tiny gilt deer below, between borders of green chevron with blue flowerheads in gilt bands and white pellets and diamonds within brown bands, the neck with stylised floral design, the flared rim with further chevron and flowerheads between gilt bands, marked under base
