Cyrillic mark of Ivan Khlebnikov, Moscow, 1873
The shaped, trefoil ended tray on four hemispherical feet, chased and engraved to simulate wood grain, within raised reeded borders and reeded supports for the six tapering beakers, similarly engraved en trompe l'oeil with reeded banding, the central cylindrical stand with pierced bracket supports surmounted by the swivelling glass barrel, mounted within a band of pierced strapwork, the stopper formed as a dancing peasant girl, a tap at each end modelled as seated men drinking, fully marked
