marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1896-1908, with scratched inventory number 22910
Oval, on spreading foot with ribbon-tied reeded rim, beaded base, the tapering sides of the cagework mount formed as ribbon-tied laurel wreaths, two enclosing plaques, one of which is engraved with intials EAB, each wreath suspended within four husks and palms to the reeded lower border and laurel and berry rim, the swing-handle with rosette and palmette decoration, with flared and scallop rimmed cut-glass liner, mount marked under base
