The chocolate-brown field with scrolling golden yellow acanthus leaves forming a strapwork lattice linking a flowering ornate vase above and below and golden scallop shell on either side, further leafy vine with flowering roses, lilies and carnations throughout, an elaborate applique escutcheon embroidered at each corner and mid way in each border, in an ice-blue linked lozenge border between polychrome stripes and oatmeal outer stipe, an applied polychrome fringe on all four sides, backed, extensive reweaving throughout, localised wear
