The rectangular eared top with pale yellow baize-lined writing-surface framed by a gadrooned edge with rockwork and foliate angles, above a waived frieze centred by tasselled drapery and flanked by foliate scrolls, the angles with bearded satyr's mask, the sides with a simulated drawer inlaid with a lyre flanked of foliate scrolls, on cabriole legs terminating in foliate paw feet
