A pale celadon glazed 'bamboo neck' vase
after a Song Dynasty longquan original, the slightly compressed globular body potted with three raised horizontal bands, with another two at the base of the neck, the tall neck encircled with two moulded bands in imitation of bamboo, beneath the broad rim, chanelled foot, Japanese wooden box -- 12¼in. (31cm) high.
