In a career spanning over 40 years, Robert McGinnis has distinguished himself as a painter of beautiful women and Western scenery. He began his career as an animation apprentice at Disney Studios, before moving on to film and advertising posters. He is responsible for no less than five Bond campaigns, as well over 40 film posters, including Breakfast At Tiffany's (1961), Barbarella (1968) and The Odd Couple (1968). After many years of creating book covers, film posters and portraits, McGinnis was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame, a Society that had awarded him accolades throughout his career.
