etching with drypoint, 1640, a fine impression of the first state (of two), with much burr to the drypoint shading in the lower right, printing with particular clarity in the background, with thread margins, a small foxmark on the executioner's side, some other, very minor foxing, with a small section of an old paper support glued to the upper sheet edge verso, generally in very good condition
