lithograph, 1923, on cream wove, signed in pencil, an impression of Knesebeck's second (final) state, possibly a proof on a larger sheet, before the edition of one hundred included in the deluxe edition of the portfolio Abschied und Tod published by Propyläen-Verlag, Berlin, 1924, with margins, a deckle edge at left and below, trimmed slightly irregularly at the top, minor time and mount staining along the sheet edges, some creases and a few small nicks at the sheet edges, otherwise in good condition
