drypoint, 1905, on Vergé d'Arches, a very good impression with the burr printing clearly throughout and with a veil of tone, one of a small number of impressions before steelfacing and the bevelling of the plate, printed by Delâtre (there were later editions of 250 on Van Gelder and 27 or 29 on Japon), with narrow margins, some foxing in the subject, two small (6 mm. and smaller) surface abrasions in the subject, some mount staining, otherwise generally in good condition
